New Xc60 Joins Volvo Family

Taking a look at the new Volvo XC60, the experts agreed that this looks like a Volvo XC90, only much smaller. Yet, it is quite large relative to the current Toyota RAV 4 models. This new vehicle will compete with like Lexus RX, BMW X3, Mercedes Benz GLK Class and the Acura RDX.

Volvo has made sure that this vehicle would be a good performer and off the road so that the company vehicle is equipped with quality. And it will be entirely new for Volvo. In relation to the forthcoming Volvo V70 and XC70 crossover estate sport utility vehicles, the Volvo XC60 can be a challenge to the rough and off-road.


The company continues to inform the public that the new Volvo XC60 will be fitted with motors like those used on the Land Rover Freelander. Speculations have it that this new vehicle will be coming with a 3.2 liter inline six engine or Ford PSA diesel engine. But what is certain is that this SUV will be mounted with the Haldex four-wheel-drive system. This system will be the same one used to update the XC70 and other Volvo cars have four wheels.
