for any new vehicle, Tata surprisingly transferred Safari Dicor is a 2.2l engine. But Tata says the engine is a completely different beast compared to the one used in Safari and Sumo Grande. Aria powered by 2.2l DICOR engine produces 140PS at 4000rpm and 320Nm at peak torque between 1700rpm to 2700rpm.Motor has evolved with the addition of dual mass flywheel (DMF), which requires to run the engine at idle near the rpms for better fuel efficiency .
