Small Car Market Will Look Radically Different by 2011

Everyone knows that the American car market is in upheaval as customers avoid large trucks and SUVs to smaller cars and crossover vehicles. In the middle of this sea change, every automaker that sells cars in the U.S. and Canada is in the process of transformation of their model lines to bring even more fuel efficient cars our way.
Over time the calendar turns over 2011, the model line up for most manufacturers will be radically altered. Please read on for an example of what was to come:
General Motors - as the automaker with the most sales and the steepest losses, GM is scrambling to change their line up across its eight brands quickly. Expect the Hummer brand to be gone by the time 2011 rolls around, leaving GM with seven brands for na.Najveće changes will be with your typical American brand, Chevrolet, where the plug-in hybrid Volt will be on the scene, 45 mpg Cruze will replace the cobalt, and another unnamed descendant of such vehicles will also be introduced. Expect some of these changes is to expand the Buick, Pontiac and Saturn.
